ELIZABETH ATILANO-MELVIN

Executive Director

 

Elizabeth has been the Executive Director since 2011. She has over 20 years' experience as an insurance broker, risk management consultant, and JPA/Risk Pool Program manager for CA school districts and government agencies.

TREVER HANSEN

Interim Controller

 

Trever started as the Accounting Assistant for VCSSFA in 2014 and moved into the Health Benefits Manager position in 2016. He is a graduate of CSU Northridge.

RUSS OLSEN

Director of Risk Management

 

Russ has been with VCSSFA for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and nearly 30 years of experience in safety, hazardous materials management, environmental compliance, and workers' compensation.

MICHELLE KELLY

Risk Manager

 

Michelle began working for VCSSFA in 2018 as a risk manager. She has over 25 years of safety and risk experience. She is a graduate of Scripps College.

SURICA LOPEZ

Executive Assistant

 

Surica began working for VCSSFA in April of 2023. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from CSU Northridge. She has seven years of experience in Office Administration in a variety of fields, such as Real Estate, Law, and Education.
